Independent merchants are being encouraged to nominate themselves for the French Champion Trade Awards 2026.
The awards “honour the exceptional efforts of leading members of the British trade promoting French wines within the UK”, according to organiser Business France.
The categories include:
- Best indie retailer for France
- Best importer for France
- Best online retailer for France
- Best voice for France
- Best restaurant for France
- Best supermarket for France
The winners will be unveiled ay VIN 2026, the annual French wine tasting taking place on Thursday, January 8 at Hyatt Regency, 30 Portman Square, London W1H 7BH.
Claire Prothon-Mackintosh of Business France says: “French wines have long held a special place in the hearts of UK trade and consumers. However great our wines may be, we would not lead the market without the passion and dedication of the trade professionals who work tirelessly to bring them to tables across the country. That’s why Business France is proud to celebrate these champions every year.”
