Boutinot has been named the independent trade’s favourite supplier for the 13th year running.
The company tops the popularity poll in The Wine Merchant’s 2026 Survey of Independents, with almost one in three respondents naming it among their three preferred suppliers.
Hatch Mansfield moves into second place for the first time, ousting Liberty Wines for the first time, which shares third place with Alliance Wine.
Hallgarten & Novum Wines takes fifth place.
In this year’s survey, 115 suppliers received votes, down from 118 last year and 130 in 2024.
The survey finds that satisfaction with suppliers is at the highest level ever recorded in the history of the survey, with 84% of indies reporting they are happy with the support they get, a big jump on the 72% recorded last year.
