On February 22, The Wine Merchant organised a 90-minute webinar to help independent merchants understand the basics of direct importing.
The masterclass was led by Chris Porter of Kukla Beverage Logistics, with support from the Kukla team. We also had valuable contributions from two independent merchants: Dylan Rowlands, of Gwin Dylanwad Wines in north Wales, and Jamie Lymer, of Givino in Frome, Somerset. Both gave us their perspectives of how importing benefits their business, as well as the challenges it presents.
The session also included a lively Q&A in which all our panelists fielded questions from the 60+ merchants who had signed up for the webinar.
