Garage Wine Co, the cult Chilean wine producer run by Canadian Derek Mossman Knapp, has moved its UK distribution to Hallgarten & Novum Wines.
The Maule Valley producer was previously an agency of Jascots.
Mossman Knapp said: “Together we want to show the UK what old vines made with purpose can be. This move represents a restored focus on the UK market with wines that speak to today’s consumers who want to know not only where their wine is made, but also how and who is behind it.
“Our parcel wines are not made for the market. They are late bloomers that grow up in small vineyards, are punched down in open-top fermenters, aged two winters in barrels and three to four more in bottle.”
Garage Wine Co was founded 25 years ago and now sells its wines in 23 export markets.
