Domaine William Fèvre is the latest addition to the Hallgarten & Novum Wines portfolio.

William Fèvre is a family-owned estate which claims the largest holdings of Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards of any producer in Chablis. Its wines were formerly distributed in the UK by Fells.

Its journey towards organic conversion started in 2000 when it stopped using herbicides, followed by the adoption of biodynamic principles in its Premier and Grand Cru vineyards in 2010. It became the first estate in Chablis to obtain Haute Valeur Environnemental 3 certification in 2014 – the highest level of environmental accreditation in France.

Buying director Catherine Jaën MW says: “William Fèvre combines an impressive history with superb organic credentials and meticulous winemaking. Their range of Premier and Grand Cru Chablis holdings is unparalleled, and the wines are celebrated by critics and customers alike.”

Hallgarten is now also the exclusive distributor of Château Paradis Casseuil from Entre-deux-Mers in Bordeaux, sister producer to Domaine William Fèvre, which produces a red and white AOC Bordeaux. A champion of sustainability, the B Corp certified property is in the process of conversion to organic viticulture.

Both Château Paradis Casseuil and Domain William Fèvre are owned by Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite.
