South America specialist Condor Wines has partnered with the Wine & Spirit Trade Association to launch a new membership package for independents.
The package is aimed at merchants with a turnover of under £2.5m, offering them a reduced rate for their first year of membership.
A full price WSTA membership costs £250 per annum but with Condor’s programme, that rate will be reduced to £150 for the first year.
Currently representing 300 businesses across the industry, WSTA membership offers many tools for independent merchants like market insights, industry updates, duty calculators, webinar access, quarterly surgeries and more.
Managing director of Condor, Lee Evans (pictured), says: “We joined the WSTA two years ago, to ensure that we are better informed regarding the key issues impacting our business and to add our voice to others that seek represent our industry, particularly to government. Since then, I’ve been vocal in my support about the value the WSTA provides.”
WSTA chief executive Miles Beale says: “In an increasingly challenging environment, it’s important that we represent our diverse industry with a strong and united voice. We aim to support businesses of all sizes and are committed to growing indie membership of the WSTA. We are delighted to have Condor Wines’ support in this.”
