Berkmann has expanded its Australia portfolio with the addition of Kooyong (Mornington Peninsula) and Rieslingfreak (Clare & Eden Valley).

Kooyong, previously represented by Enotria&Coe, was established in 1996.

Its current owners, the Gjergja family, operate 40 hectares of vineyards with a strong focus on sustainability.

Rieslingfreak was previously represented by Bibendum.

Owner and Clare Valley native John Hughe, founded the brand in 2009 after being nicknamed “Rieslingfreak” at university.

Berkmann purchasing director Alex Hunt MW said: “We are raring to start with Rieslingfreak and Kooyong. These latest additions will further enhance the diversity of our selection and underscore our ongoing commitment to the premium Australian category.”
