Alliance Wine has added Champagne Lenoble and Burgundy producer Maison Albert Bichot to its French portfolio.

Lenoble has previously been sold in the UK by Flint Wines and Bichot by Nectar Imports.

Alliance said its fine wine sales have risen 30% year on year, with France remaining a key focus. “Champagne Lenoble and Albert Bichot are exactly the kind of producers we look for; family-owned, quality-obsessed and doing something our customers can’t get anywhere else,” said head of buying Jean Wareing MW.

Champagne Lenoble, founded in 1920, is now owned by the Frère-Gallienne family, which is also a shareholder in Château Cheval Blanc. Winemaker Julien Lardy previously worked at Domaine Ramonet in Burgundy. The house uses a high proportion of perpetual reserve wines, including stocks aged in magnum, while some cuvées are matured in large neutral oak.

Maison Albert Bichot, founded in 1831 and now run by the sixth generation of the family, combines estate vineyards with négociant production. Its holdings extend across Burgundy and Beaujolais, including Domaine Long-Depaquit in Chablis, Domaine du Clos-Frantin in the Côte de Nuits and Domaine de Rochegrès in Moulin-à-Vent. Its estates have been certified organic since 2018, with Long-Depaquit following from the 2024 vintage.
