Armit has welcomed Domaine Capuano-Ferreri from Santenay into its portfolio.

The estate, described by Armit as “just beyond Burgundy’s blue-chip villages yet firmly within the Côte d’Or”, is run by John Capuano, who took over the family business from his father in 2009.

Wines carried by Armit include 2023 Santenay Vieilles Vignes blanc; 2024 Chassagne-Montrachet Cuvée Prestige blanc; 2023 Santenay Vieilles Vignes rouge; 2024 Maranges Premier Cru La Fussière rouge; and 2022 Santenay Premier Cru La Comme rouge.

“With manual harvesting, traditional vinification and ageing in French oak barrels, all with the aim of showcasing terroir rather than winemaking, the wines are simply classic Burgundy,” according to Armit.

“They are honest, reliable and deliver remarkable value without compromising a true sense of place.”
