Champagnes & Châteaux has been appointed UK agent for Australian producer Brokenwood Wines.
The agreement represents Champagnes & Châteaux’s first distribution deal with an Australian winery. Brokenwood, which was named the 2026 Halliday Wine Companion Winery of the Year, will add a premium Australian dimension to the importer’s portfolio.
Founded in the Hunter Valley in 1970, Brokenwood is best known for its Graveyard Vineyard Shiraz and Hunter Valley Semillon, as well as its more widely distributed Cricket Pitch range. It also produces wines from vineyard sites across several Australian regions.
Managing director Charles Taverner said the wines complemented Champagnes & Châteaux’ range of independent producers. The agency will be presented to the trade at the company’s London portfolio tasting on September 9, attended by Brokenwood global sales manager Nathan Hughes.
Brokenwood was previously represented in the UK by Bancroft Wines.
